Day 1 – Sunday, July 19, 2026 – Arrival Beyond the Arctic Circle

At the end of our journey, we cross the Arctic Circle and arrive in Norway’s wild northern world. The first evening is already spent close to the fjords, where the northern light and fresh sea air immediately signal that a special adventure is about to begin.

Day 2 – Monday, July 20, 2026 – Roadtrip to the Islands & First Summit

Driving along the legendary E10 road, we venture deeper and deeper into the world of Lofoten. In the afternoon, we conquer our first summit, Fløya, offering dramatic views over Svolvær and the sea. In the evening, we stroll through the charming fishing village of Henningsvær, where red rorbuer cabins and harbor lights create the magic of northern evenings.

Day 3 – Tuesday, July 21, 2026 – Fjords, Eagles, and Mountain Peaks

In the morning, we set off on a boat excursion into the narrow Trollfjord, where—if we’re lucky—we may spot the white-tailed sea eagles nesting in the area. From the deck of our quiet, modern catamaran, sipping hot chocolate while admiring the fjord’s dramatic rock walls is a rare and truly special experience. In the afternoon, we lace up our hiking boots again and climb Tjeldbergtinden, where a mosaic-like panorama of fjords and islands unfolds before us. We end the day with a relaxed evening walk.

Day 4 – Wednesday, July 22, 2026 – Viewpoints, Beaches, and Kayaking

We start the day with a lighter yet spectacular summit hike on Offersøykammen. In the afternoon, we explore Lofoten’s famous beaches, where white sand, turquoise water, and steep mountain walls meet. In the evening, we go sunset kayaking near Eggum, where the sun dips below the horizon only briefly, allowing sunset to blend almost seamlessly into sunrise in a breathtaking display of colors—one of the most special experiences of the entire trip.

Day 5 – Thursday, July 23, 2026 – The Legendary Kvalvika Beach and the World of the Vikings

We begin the day by conquering the Ryten summit, from where the world-famous Kvalvika Beach reveals itself from above. From here, we descend to the white sandy beach, then return via the mountain ridge at the end of the hike—a complete and truly rewarding mountain adventure. In the afternoon, we travel back in time at the Lofotr Viking Museum, learning about Viking everyday life and traditions.

Day 6 – Friday, July 24, 2026 – Fishing Villages, Coastline, and Sauna

In the morning, we stroll through the authentic fishing village of Nusfjord, where time seems to have stood still, followed by a few-hour mountain hike along scenic trails through wild, untouched landscapes. In the afternoon, we relax on the calm, open coastline of Ramberg Beach, then optionally end the day with a local sauna—where, with heated bodies, we can even run into the rolling, icy ocean. The perfect way to unwind after the hikes.

Day 7 – Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Hidden Beach and Iconic Summit

We reach the wild Bunes Beach by ferry, one of the most remote stretches of coastline on the islands, where nature remains completely untouched. In the afternoon comes the highlight of the week: climbing the steps of Reinebringen, as fjords and villages open up deeper and deeper beneath us—the panorama at the top sweeps away every trace of fatigue. We finish the day—and the entire week—with an authentic local fish dinner, and if you’re truly adventurous, whale meat may also be waiting on your plate.

Day 8 – Sunday, July 26, 2026 – Journey Home, Full of Memories

On the final morning, we take one last deep breath of Arctic air before heading home.

Phones full of photos, minds full of stories—Lofoten will surely stay with us.

🥾 Hiking difficulty level

Moderate to challenging (Level 3). Expect hikes of 2–5 hours with 300–700 meters of elevation gain, on steep and rocky terrain.

Good to know: If you are in good health, physically active, and have mountain hiking experience, you are ready for this adventure!

🍽️ Meals

• Kitchens available at our accommodations allow for individual or shared breakfast/dinner preparation

• We stop at local shops to purchase ingredients and daily food supplies

• Participants prepare daily food packs and carry them during hikes

Flights must be booked individually. There are regular flights from Oslo to Narvik.

• 2–3 short-sleeve hiking shirts

• 1 long-sleeve hiking shirt

• 1 fleece or sweater

• 1 insulated jacket (light down or synthetic)

• 1 waterproof hard-shell jacket (min. 20,000–25,000 mm waterproof rating)

• Hiking pants

• Waterproof overpants

• Comfortable evening clothing

• Swimsuit (for sauna)

🥾 Footwear

• Waterproof, stiff hiking boots with good tread (not trail running shoes)

• Lightweight shoes or sandals for evenings and kayaking

🎒 Gear

• Backpack (20–30 liters)

• Dry bag or waterproof pouch (for kayaking)

• Water bottle (1–1.5 liters)

• Application deadline: apply no later than June 15, 2026.

• After registration, you will receive payment instructions for the €500 deposit.

• To secure your spot, the deposit must be paid within 7 days.

• Your booking becomes final once the payment is received.

• The invoice for the deposit will be sent within 7 days of receiving the payment.

• Once participation of the minimum 5 people is confirmed, you will be notified and can safely book your flights.

• The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days after the deposit, but no later than June 30, 2025.

🚫 CANCELLATION POLICY

1. If the organizer cancels the tour (minimum group size)

• Minimum group size: 5 participants

• Application deadline: June 30, 2025

• If the minimum number is not reached by this date, the tour will be canceled

• Refund: 100% of all payments will be refunded within 14 days

2. If the participant cancels

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to simon.zoltan.e@gmail.com. The cancellation date is the day the email is received.

• 60 days before departure (until 2026.05.20): the €500 deposit is non-refundable

• 30–59 days before departure (2026.05.21–06.18): 50% of the total tour price is retained

• Within 30 days before departure (from 2026.06.19): 100% of the total tour price is retained

Travel insurance is mandatory!! It is strongly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers unexpected cancellations.
